Happy New Year to all! I hope this year has gotten off to a great start for everyone! I wanted to begin by reminding everyone of the importance of shoveling their sidewalks and driveways. The temperatures have dropped and the great freeze has begun. It is important for the safety of our neighbors and children to keep our sidewalks and driveways clear.
We had a great turn out for our 1st Holiday Lights Spectacular! There was hot chocolate, cookies, music & McGruff from the AACOPD. We had a winner in the holiday lights competition and boy did they do a great job! I have to give a HUGE shout out to Kirk Southworth for driving us all around the neighborhood while we caroled and judged the lights. I hope you will join us next year for this fun event.
I am not sure about you but, I am not one for making a bunch of resolutions. I tend to look at the New Year as a fresh start! In February we will launch our 1st newsletter/welcome packet! This is project we have been working on for a while. It will be full of information about and for our community. There will be everything from articles from area realtors about the marketplace to great sources of where to go when you need help. It will include the calendar of dates for our meetings. If this is project that you would like to help us with please send me an email.
Desperately seeking volunteers. We need your help!
